Worship Schedule
Worship at Our Savior Lutheran typically lasts a little over an hour and includes singing, prayer, scripture readings, a sermon, and Communion.
Saturday 5:30p and Sunday 8a Traditional Worship
Our traditional services include music from the hymnal, usually played on the organ or piano and some Sundays with the Our Savior Singers, Choir. We follow the order of service in the front of the hymnal.
10:45a Contemporary Sunday Gatherings
On the first and third Sundays of the month, we have contemporary worship, similar to the 8a format, but featuring songs led by our Praise Band.

What to expect
-
We have a parking lot behind the church, located off Gardner Avenue, and street parking is available in front of the church on Kane Street.
When entering on Kane Street, walk through the fellowship area, and follow the stairs up to the sanctuary, or use the handicap elevator.
When parking in the lot, enter into the Narthex through the main Church doors.
You are welcome to park in either location.
-
All gatherings include worship with singing, corporate Confession (admitting to God we need forgiveness), and Absolution (forgiveness through our belief in Christ’s death on the Cross), Scripture readings, the sermon (spoken message from the pastor), the creed (statement of what we believe as the Christian church) and Holy Communion.
-
During the Saturday 5:30 and Sunday 8a services, we sing hymns led by the piano or organ and follow the liturgy of the hymnal. On the first and third Sundays of the month, the 10:45a service is led by a worship team and usually includes a mixture of piano, acoustic guitar, strings, percussion and vocals.

Bring them! We love them! At OSL we welcome kids in our worship gatherings and there are also locations for parents to step out with children, if they’d like. Our church body feels like a family where the parents, young professionals and college students alike get to know the kids and enjoy their energy.

We welcome EVERYONE to join us for communion! Because Communion is a statement of our unity of faith, we ask that only those who have been baptized, prepared themselves, and share our beliefs receive communion. If our beliefs are new or unfamiliar to you, or you are not prepared to receive communion today, please join us around the altar and cross your arms over your chest to indicate you will not be receiving communion today. And then after the service please speak with the pastor or ask someone to point out an elder to have a conversation about what we believe and to answer any questions you may have.
